Q. Hello there! Could you please introduce yourself to us?
A. Hello! My name is Rebekah and I'm currently a freshman at UCSD majoring in Human Biology. I'm an amateur stylist and fashion photographer, which is the main point of this website. I enjoy working on conceptual photography, digital art and lighting design. I also sing and play the piano.
Q. When did you first become interested in fashion?
A. Well, I'd say sometime around middle school? Around 8th grade, I realized how hideously I dressed every day and decided that something had to change. I went through a few awkward years in which I tried to develop my style while staying in budget, but by roughly the end of my high school career, I found a more grounded style. Of course, my style still has some crazy flip-flop moments, but it's much more stable now.
Q. What are some of your hobbies?
A. Wow. I have a lot of them! I'm really interested in art, fashion, music and writing, to be extremely general. I love hanging out with my friends and going shopping or going to the theatre. I enjoy watching musicals (THE LION KING!) and comedy/action/romance movies.
Q. What kind of music are you into?
A. Currently, my playlist consists of Glass Pear, Oceanship, Joe Brooks, Matt Lungley, Starsailor, Powderfinger, Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I listen to pretty much everything, but my favourite type to listen to is something soft, with meaningful lyrics and a soothing voice. It really depends on my mood, but above playlist is my any-time playlist! I'm also a big fan of Cobra Starship, Big Bang, Owl City The Hush Sound, Mika and Mew. I'm also incredibly fobby for somebody who was born in the States. I love Jay Chou, Fahrenheit, Wang Lee Hom, Big Bang...
